Skype Course:

1 Skype session, up to 3 hours in length including breaks

This purpose of this course is to explore coping strategies for managing anxiety including:

  1. Breathing techniques and the importance of pausing
  2. Focusing and prioritising what you can change, rather than cannot
  3. Tackling unhelpful thoughts through reframing
  4. Grounding techniques

Face to face Course

6 hours: two mornings or afternoons sessions

Session 1 Goals:

  • Explore anxiety signs and symptoms
  • Understand the anxiety cycle
  • Develop techniques to help
  • Begin to build anxiety first aid kit

Session 2 Goals:

  • Reflect on the anxiety first aid kit
  • Explore tips and techniques to reduce anxiety
  • Develop tools to tackle unhelpful thinking
  • Focus on ‘stuff you can control’
